子供を預ける　

最初はね、私なしでもあの子たちは何時間は平気だろうって思ったの。でもね、考えてみると、私の方があの子たちとは5分も離れていられないのよ！
At first I thought they'd be OK without me for a few hours.　But you know what?　Come to think of it, I'm the one who can't be [stay] away from them for more than five minutes!!


実家に子供を預ける　

おじいちゃんに会いに行きたい？
Do you want to go see granddaddy?　

うん！
Yes!　

じゃあ朝、おじいちゃんのとこ連れてって、晩ご飯の時間くらいにお迎えに行くからね。いい？
Then I'll drop you off at granddaddy's place in the morning, and pick you up around dinnertime, OK?

子供を他人に見てもらう　

ルーシー。明日ジョディーおばさんが来るよ。モールに連れてってくれるって！　すごいでしょ？！
Lucy, Aunt Jody is coming tomorrow.　She's going to take you to the mall!　Isn't that great?!

Yes!　

ママは明日仕事だからね、いい子でいられる？
I have to go to work tomorrow, so can you be a good girl?　

一緒にモールに来ないの？
Aren't you coming with us to the mall?　

うん、駄目なの。でもジョディーおばさんが面倒見てくれるから, 心配いらないよ。ルーシーもジョディーおばさんのこと好きでしょ？

近所の人に子供を見てもらう　

今日、病院の予約が入ってるのよね…

息子さん、見てあげるわよ。いつでも連れてきていいわよ。
